Trauma Response Specialist

About the Role

We seek experienced trauma management specialists who can support a diverse range of clients.



Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical incident response services using Psychological First Aid and stepped care to support clients.
  • Analyse themes, recommendations, or process improvements for organisational benefit.
  • Deliver employee counselling, training, and consulting services as needed.
  • Offer one-on-one trauma support and group sessions using trauma-specific interventions.


Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in psychosocial interventions, support, and counselling.
  • A minimum 3 years' experience in trauma management and/or consultancy services.
  • Able to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs, and provide solution-focused advice.
  • Excellent time management, report writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver People Assist services (EAP, RRS).

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a psychologist or social worker.
  • Training in Psychological First Aid is required.
  • A tertiary qualification in Behavioural Sciences and registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • A current driver's licence and own vehicle.
