Senior Trauma Care Specialist

Clinical nurse specialists play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within their area of specialty. They collaborate to provide a comprehensive approach to trauma patient management, enhancing patient outcomes by developing standards of practice, implementing clinical changes, initiating research and quality improvement activities, and offering expert consultation.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care within their area of specialty
- Collaborate to provide a multidisciplinary approach to trauma patient management
- Develop and implement standards of practice
- Initiate research and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide expert consultation and guidance
This 12-month position will focus on service development, reviewing current trauma care practices, coordinating care for trauma inpatients, and improving data collection and analysis. The successful applicant will have prior experience in trauma nursing and relevant training, as well as support for clinical review of patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Trauma nursing experience and training
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Expertise in trauma care and patient management
