About the Role

In this exciting position, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of support staff to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in scheduling and rostering, with experience in using software programs to manage staff and client services. You will be responsible for:

  • Responding to staffing requests and coordinating the scheduling of support staff
  • Developing rosters to achieve efficiency and maximize the use of resources
  • Utilizing workforce to cover shift shortfalls
  • Providing advice and support to internal customers, supervisors, and employees throughout the workforce planning and utilization process
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulations
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Answering phone calls and assisting with client and stakeholder enquiries
  • Scheduling of support staff and ensuring all client services are filled in a timely manner
  • Using a software program to enter service details and manage client services
  • Developing rosters to achieve efficiency and maximize the use of resources
  • Utilizing workforce to cover shift shortfalls
  • Providing advice and support to internal customers, supervisors, and employees throughout the workforce planning and utilization process
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulations
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar high-volume staff rostering and scheduling role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of rostering and scheduling processes
  • Relevant tertiary office management qualification - Desirable
  • Understanding of industry relations, awards, agreements, and how they impact on rosters is a plus
  • CERT III in home and community care, aged care, or disability care is a plus
  • Experience using VisualCare or similar rostering and scheduling software is highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and high level of resilience
  • Strong planning and organization skills with good attention to detail with data entry
  • Moderate competency in Microsoft Office skills
