Key Responsibilities:


  1. Manage the mechanical design and delivery aspects of large and complex integrated systems, including managing resources, controlling budgets, and adhering to project schedules.
  2. Lead the mechanical design team on assigned projects, coordinating and allocating tasks, and attending sales and project review meetings.
  3. Develop system designs and layouts, manage design schedules, budgets, and work orders, and liaise with Project Managers, architects, builders, consultants, and purchasing teams.
  4. Check and approve drawings, calculations, and technical documentation, develop mechanical installation work packages and inspection and test plans, and provide technical support and advice to other areas of the business and junior employees.
  5. Assist with system commissioning and testing, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements:


  1. Proven experience in mechanical project engineering, with a strong background in design, delivery, and project management.
  2. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and design principles, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
