Legal Secretary/Office Manager

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/Legal Secretary to join our team at Empire Group. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide administrative assistance to our Director, focusing on commercial property and succession law matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide dictation, online research, and general administrative support to the Director.
- Assist with yearly QLS processes for the firm.
- Answer phone calls and serve as the first point of contact for clients.
- Manage general and trust account banking, including receipting and drawing cheques.
- Prepare invoices, aged debtors, and reports for work in progress.
- Liaise with the Director on management matters and ensure office procedures are up-to-date.
- Perform safe custody and archiving duties.
- Order stationery, office supplies, and coordinate office maintenance and supplier duties.
- Attend to other general administrative tasks.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of legal secretarial experience, including property legal secretarial experience and trust accounting experience. Leap experience is preferred but not essential.
What We Offer:Empire Group offers a competitive salary up to $85,000 + Superannuation, depending on experience. Our office is located at Eight Mile Plains, with free parking available. We are a well-established law firm with a friendly and supportive team.
