Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Technician to join our team in Burnie, Tasmania. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, and repair of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, and small drive components.


About the Role:


  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble hydraulic cylinders using cylinder benches and other tooling;
  • Report stock levels of consumables to assist in planning future works;
  • Maintain machinery and equipment, recording details within our systems;
  • Attend and contribute to daily CATS meetings (pre-start);
  • Complete necessary paperwork and reports relating to works completed;
  • Ensure all tooling is in good condition and fit for task requirements.

About You:


To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a heavy earthmoving or automotive workshop environment, with skills including welding capability, high attention to detail, and good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in hydraulic cylinder repair and small component rebuilds is preferred but not essential.
