Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled technician to fill this vital role in Burnie, Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect and repair hydraulic cylinders, small pumps, hydraulic motors, valves and small drive components.
  • Set up and use cylinder bench and other tooling to re-assemble with new parts hydraulic cylinders.
  • Report consumable stock levels to assist in planning for future works.
  • Maintain machinery and equipment and record within systems.
  • Attend and contribute to daily meetings.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and reports relating to works completed.
  • Ensure all tooling is in good condition and fit to task being performed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent work ethic and ability to handle numerous tasks.
  • Drive and determination to learn.
  • Experience in heavy earthmoving or automotive workshop environment.
  • Welding capability.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
