Job Title: Transport Logistics Coordinator

Job Description:

In this pivotal role, you will play a key operational part in planning and executing daily delivery schedules. Your responsibilities will include monitoring independent contractors to ensure efficient freight movements, maintaining live data entry in transport systems, troubleshooting operational issues as they arise, and liaising with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage daily load and route schedules to meet service targets.
  • Direct and monitor independent contractors to maximise utilisation and meet performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in transport systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams for seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in allocation, transport planning or coordination.
  • Geographical knowledge of Sydney and surrounding areas.
  • Familiarity with Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel and transport management systems.
