We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to partner with our leadership team and drive positive outcomes in the workplace.
About the RoleThis is a critical role that requires strong expertise in employment and industrial relations matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice, managing complex investigations, and engaging with external parties to influence workplace culture and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice on employment and industrial relations matters
- Support leaders through performance, grievance, and disciplinary processes
- Manage complex investigations and external claims
- Contribute to enterprise bargaining and union negotiations
- Design and deliver employee education workshops
- Analyse data to identify trends and drive improvement
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, HR, IR/ER or related field
- In-depth knowledge of Federal and State employment legislation
- Strong experience in case management, dispute resolution, and enterprise agreements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to lead and coach team members effectively
- A collaborative mindset
