Legal Advisor & Compliance Officer - Renewable Energy

This newly created role reports directly to the General Counsel and will work closely with the business to provide pragmatic legal support on a broad range of matters. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction, infrastructure or real estate law.

The successful Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing timely, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of business matters. This includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, project documentation and commercial agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing commercial and pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Supporting dispute resolution, litigation and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Designing and embedding compliance frameworks, policies and training across the organisation.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring ongoing compliance.

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in construction, infrastructure or real estate law.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
