About the Role

This role is focused on delivering exceptional leadership and management of early intervention services. The successful applicant will be responsible for promoting the organisation's services, guiding and managing area services, supporting growth within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for growth.

The role will report to the Chief Executive Officer and be part of the Senior Leadership Team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring quality early intervention services are provided, including administration and record keeping.
  • Management of overall service delivery, working closely with team leaders and teams to achieve organisational goals.
  • Identifying opportunities for service growth and establishing new services in collaboration with the CEO and Leadership Team.
  • Compliance with all practice-related regulations, contractual obligations, and legal obligations.
  • Implementing robust risk management strategies across all services, including oversight and implementation of operational procedures in alignment with the organisation's risk management framework, COVID safety, and compliance with all regulations.
  • Ensuring practice alignment with the National Child Safe Standards through review, coaching, and implementation of child safe practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work in alignment with our values - self-determination, access and equity, collaboration, respect, ethics, and integrity, sustainability.
  • Experience in management of early education, intervention, therapy, and/or support services, utilising transdisciplinary key worker practices, family-centred models, and strengths-based approaches.
  • A comprehensive understanding of child development, disability, and developmental delay across early childhood and school-aged years, evidence-based practice, and parenting issues.
  • Extensive experience in leading, managing, and supporting staff in teams (including transdisciplinary teams).
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively, and to lead and manage services within a broader organisational framework and management structure.
  • Proven ability to develop, foster, and manage relationships with a range of organisations.
