Quality Control Specialist PositionWe're seeking a highly skilled Pension Assurance Analyst to drive our mission and growth strategy. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments to ensure that our tools, processes, and systems meet the highest standards for our team, members, and employers.About the Job:
This Quality Control Specialist position is responsible for performing ongoing quality inspections, defect analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and supporting system and product rollouts to guarantee seamless administrative readiness.
The purpose of this role is to identify system or process gaps, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with plan rules and applicable pension regulations and legislative requirements .
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct quality tests on various pension processes, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective actions.
Develop regular audit reports with findings and risk assessments, providing recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support QA initiatives.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing detailed test matrices, executing test cases, and analyzing results, working closely with IT to address defects.
Identify, document, and analyze defects in system processes and functionalities, prioritizing and resolving issues with IT and other stakeholders.
Foster change management efforts within the pension administration team by facilitating process improvements, documenting changes, and ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, tools, and practices.
Provide ongoing support to the pension administration teams on system updates, process changes, and new functionalities, leading ad-hoc training sessions, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
To Succeed:
You'll need a College Diploma or University Degree, with at least 3 years of experience in Multi-Employer Pension Plans (MEPP), public sector pension administration, or outsourcing services.
A strong understanding of pension administration processes, systems, pension plan texts, and relevant legislation is essential.
Experience in auditing, conducting quality reviews, and collecting, synthesizing, organizing, and interpreting data to draw actionable conclusions is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, clear communication skills, hands-on experience in testing, documentation, and implementing pension systems are necessary.
