Safe School Transport Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting students to and from school, as well as on excursions and overnight trips.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence and a proven record of safe driving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
About the RoleThis key role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students during term-time, primarily for morning and afternoon routes.
- Operate school buses safely and professionally, strictly following all road rules and regulations.
- Transport students to and from school, as well as on excursions and overnight trips.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the buses.
- Adhere to the College's safety protocols and procedures.
The successful applicant must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in school bus driving is desirable but not essential.
Skills and QualificationsA minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence is required, with a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence being preferred. The successful candidate must provide a Working With Children Clearance Number and date of birth.
