Role: School Crossing Supervisor - Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School - Lismore
Organisation: Transport for NSW
Location: Rosemeadow, NSW, AU, 2560
Employment type: Permanent Part-Time
Salary: $26.43 per hour
Shifts: 8:15–9:15 AM and 2:30–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
School crossings require 20 hours of supervising per fortnight.
You'll be paid an hourly rate along with superannuation, and you will be compensated during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.
Responsibilities

Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists.
You'll also grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.

About You

You're a community minded person who would like to contribute.
You'd get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy.
You're reliable and prepared to show up for your community - in good or bad weather.
You'll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and Health Assessment is vital.
If you already have a Working with Children Check, that will speed up the process.

Recruitment Timeline
Our talent team will review all applications and contact shortlisted candidates by week commencing 8 September 2025 for a quick 5–10 min phone interview, followed by panel interviews.
If successful, you will progress to pre-employment checks.
Applications close 11:59 pm on Wednesday 3 September 2025.
Applicants who pass the interview may be considered for a casual position if a vacancy arises.
A Talent Pool may be created for current and future casual and permanent part-time positions over the next 18 months.
