As a personal carer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care and assistance to clients requiring support with daily living activities, healthcare, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily routines, including personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in social and recreational activities.
  • Prepare meals, administer medications, and assist with mobility and transfer procedures.
  • Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to relevant authorities.
  • Respond to emergency situations with compassion and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Current unrestricted driver's license.
