About the Role

We are seeking a Graduate FPGA Developer or FPGA Developer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with us to design and develop highly accurate and efficient systems that solve complex problems in real-time. Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of a project with tangible business value.
  • Having autonomy and responsibility to apply fresh ideas.
  • Accelerating network infrastructure and trading systems using the latest devices, tools, and techniques.
  • Developing rigorous test benches using a combination of VHDL and System Verilog.
  • Exploring new mechanisms for faster data communication/processing to accelerate network infrastructure and trading systems.
  • Working with the fastest devices/platforms in the industry.

By the end of the program, you will have gained a deep understanding of our trading systems and the engineering concepts that make them successful.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technology, particularly FPGA hardware. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in HDL languages (VHDL and/or Verilog), some experience with Python and/or C++, and knowledge of network protocols (Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP). Familiarity with FPGA logic elements, transceivers, memory, and other on-chip resources is also essential.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this role, you must be a final-year university student or recent graduate for the graduate program, or a penultimate or pre-penultimate university student for the internship program. You should also be studying a Computer Science, Software/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or similarly technical degree. Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent residency, or full working rights are required.
