Job Overview:
Akuna Capital is seeking an experienced C++ Developer to join our Sydney-based engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mission-critical trading systems using modern C++ technologies. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms, as well as experience with Linux and Python.

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled C++ Developer who can build high-quality Linux services using Agile methodologies. You will participate in code reviews and design sessions, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on cross-functional teams and contribute to the design and implementation of new features.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mission-critical trading systems using modern C++ technologies.
  • Plan, design, and implement high-quality Linux services.
  • Build software using Agile methodologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and design sessions.
  • Work on cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience developing performant, scalable applications in modern C++ (C++11, 14, or 17).
  • Experience with Linux and Python required.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Practical use of multi-threaded/multi-core programming paradigms.
  • Object-oriented design and programming experience.
