Commercial Finance Analyst

The role of Commercial Finance Analyst involves providing timely and accurate information to the business. This is a great opportunity to be part of delivering strategic commercial outcomes and work closely with stakeholders to drive business results.

• Deliver Management Reporting and Forecasting:

  Provide regular management reporting and forecasting, including communication of key business insights and drivers. Ensure that management reports are clear, concise, and easy to understand.

• Contribute to Budgeting and Forecasting Processes:

  Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting processes, including analysis of revenue streams, cost base, and risks and opportunities. Work closely with senior management to ensure that budgets and forecasts are accurate and achievable.

• Analyse Consolidated Budgets and Forecasts:

  Analyse consolidated budgets and forecasts, providing interpretation and guidance to stakeholders. Identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process enhancements.

• Support Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner:

  Work closely with the Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to deliver required strategic commercial outputs and projects aligned to the business plan. Provide high-quality commercial finance support to senior management and other stakeholders.

• Partner with Senior Management:

  Work with senior management to provide high-quality commercial finance support. Develop strong working relationships with senior managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

• Drive Operational Improvement:

  Identify and drive operational improvements through analysis of financial plans, management information, and performance. Develop recommendations for process enhancements and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide perceptive management insight by reviewing standard management reports, monthly accounts, journals, reporting commentary, management presentations, and ad hoc reporting as required.

Review new client setups to ensure remuneration elements are correctly recorded. Prepare ongoing client profitability and work with Brand leaders to improve client remuneration where possible.

Collaborate with the Financial Control team to finalise the monthly financial statements.

Drive process improvement with the business and Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner.

• Financial Analysis:

  Develop and maintain complex financial models, including budgeting and forecasting. Analyse financial data and provide recommendations for process enhancements.

• Communication:

  Develop and maintain effective communication skills to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Ensure that communication is clear, concise, and easy to understand.

• Business Acumen:

  Develop and maintain strong business acumen, including knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Use this knowledge to inform financial decision-making and drive business outcomes.
