About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yooralla, a leading disability service provider in Victoria. As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to children with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community, aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation, as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals.
Requirements
  • Established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability.
  • Ability to work in partnership with children with a disability to set and achieve goals.
  • Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across southern suburbs as required.
