About this Maintenance Fitter Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in Yatala, QLD.

The successful candidate will be part of a US listed industry leader as a wholesaler and reseller, working across a range of industries, including quarry equipment, crushers, screens, conveyors, and stackers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repairs and maintenance, including welding activities, on all quarry equipment
  • Work on shutdowns and general maintenance
  • Carry out repair work aligned to work schedules
  • Ensure all work is carried out to company guidelines

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Trade qualifications Cert III Engineering Mechanical trade Fitter & Turner or Plant Mechanic with hydraulic experience
  • Full drivers licence required
  • Fitting experience with fixed and mobile plant applications
  • Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and quarry equipment desirable
  • Flexibility to work overtime hours and weekends as required
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
