A Leadership Role in Community Services

This position oversees volunteers and outreach programs at the core of our mission to connect with people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage or social isolation.

This leadership role has real purpose, overseeing volunteers and outreach programs, ensuring each outreach shift is safe, welcoming and aligned with our values. The manager will provide leadership, guidance and hands-on support to volunteer Branch Coordinators and the Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator, ensuring they are equipped, connected and empowered to deliver safe, high-quality outreach across all locations.

  • Leadership experience in community services, health, volunteer management or related areas
  • Demonstrated success in engaging, training and retaining volunteers
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational delivery
  • The ability to engage authentically and respectfully with people from all walks of life
  • A genuine drive to bring inclusivity, dignity, value and respect to every individual we meet
  • Comfort working at both the coalface and in a management role, with a willingness to step in where needed

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on community engagement. The manager will work from the head office, spend time in outreach hubs, and engage directly with volunteers and partners to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
