Community Engagement Specialist

Urban Utilities is seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Specialist to lead the development and implementation of community engagement strategies that support our corporate strategy and core operations.
This role involves building effective relationships with stakeholders, developing and implementing Project Community Engagement Plans and communications using IAP2 methodology, and utilizing expertise in communications to input into the development of Project Community Relations Plans.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications, or related field;
- Leadership experience in a similar role, with ability to plan and manage resources to deliver objectives;
- Demonstrated experience managing customer and community relationships and engagement;
- Practical experience in implementing IAP2 principles and practices;
- Significant experience engaging with numerous stakeholders in infrastructure and maintenance;
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and building effective working relationships.
