
Community Support Specialist

The Recovery Worker plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals with psychiatric disabilities within their communities.
This position requires an individual who can develop and maintain professional working relationships with participants, their families, and friends to support meaningful health, social, and economic outcomes.
- Conduct regular face-to-face support visits to connect with the person and monitor progress around key areas.
- Encourage linkages into various activities that support achievement of goals, including other services available.
- Develop individually tailored recovery plans incorporating specific individual goals focusing on skill and knowledge development, physical health, and housing outcomes.
Regularly review service delivery to ensure alignment with individual needs and opportunities for growth.
