The Role of a Mental Health Clinician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide evidence-based mental health interventions and manage a full client caseload, including intake, assessment, and care coordination.

You will work closely with internal teams and local services to deliver accessible, coordinated mental health support. This role combines both face-to-face and telehealth care, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals, families, and groups in regional and remote communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Mental Health Social Work, Psychology (generalist or clinical), or Credentialled Mental Health Nursing.
  • Minimum five years of clinical experience supporting individuals across all age groups in mental health settings.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and care planning, with a deep understanding of challenges faced by rural and remote communities.
