About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations hub in Seven Hills, NSW.

Rail Operations is an internal Business Unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in self-delivery of rail construction projects. Our team consists of experienced technical experts who deliver large-scale infrastructure projects across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage costs and subcontractors effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Bring your expertise in pre-delivery and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
  • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports and collaborate with design management and construction delivery teams.
  • Maintain the highest Health and Safety standards.

About You

  • You will have experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in rail and associated infrastructure, ideally in a tier 1 setting. Strong leadership skills are essential for this role.
  • A degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or construction management, combined with experience working on major infrastructure projects, utility relocations, and stakeholder management.
