Job Overview

As the IT Service Continuity Manager, you will be responsible for managing continuity requirements and IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) services.

The role involves ensuring high-quality customer delivery of ITSCM services with the goal of Disaster Recovery readiness aligned with customers' Service Continuity Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams in assessing, developing, coordinating, and communicating recovery environment requirements and plans for customers.
  • Ensure Disaster Recovery plans align with relevant legislation and organisational insurance requirements.
  • Maintain status reporting, plans, and other Disaster Recovery documentation.
  • Represent the ITSCM service on behalf of Datacom to customers.
  • Deliver high-quality ITSCM services ensuring compliance with relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure stakeholders adhere to relevant processes in line with customer requirements and Best Practices.

Support customer Business Continuity and ITSCM projects as required.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial IT, with a background in both mainframe and client/server technologies.
  • Thorough knowledge of information systems, operating systems, databases, and networking.
  • Excellent customer relationship building and management skills with the ability to network and develop productive relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
