Job Description

This role is responsible for contributing to the development of service continuity and recovery plans, driving consistency and improving the quality of continuity planning. It involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify ICT services and systems that support critical business processes.

The successful candidate will work with the business continuity team to support business impact analysis (BIA) and the assessment of risks. They will maintain and improve the Key Business Services (KBS) list and contribute to the planning, design, and coordination of DRP testing working alongside Service Owners and stakeholders to ensure the appropriate governance of the ITSCM framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement service continuity and recovery plans
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical business processes
  • Support business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessment
  • Maintain and improve the KBS list
  • Contribute to DRP testing and ITSCM framework governance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of service levels and ITIL certification. You should also have minimum 5 years' experience in service continuity and disaster recovery within a medium/large organisation ICT environment.

In addition, you will need to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration across business and technology teams. Experience in service continuity and DR planning and testing is essential, as well as a solid grasp of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance.
