Job Overview

This role involves performing maintenance tasks and troubleshooting hydraulic systems to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.

  • Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Identify and rectify faults in equipment, using complex diagnostic techniques and testing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement new initiatives and improve processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and update work order history on SAP.
  • Record modifications and updates in manuals and plans.
  • Perform root cause investigations and assist in resolving equipment reliability issues.

Requirements:

  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner/Machinist, Hydraulics, or Heavy Duty Fitter)
  • Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
  • Certificate III in Mines Rescue (highly desirable)
  • Basic computer literacy and SAP experience advantageous.
