As an IT Operations Specialist, you will contribute to the Department's overall Enterprise Operations Centre capabilities by improving processes and technology.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of work experience and possess strong skills in monitoring systems dashboards (e.g. Splunk), ITSM Service Now tool, and ITIL methodology.

You will be responsible for suggesting updates for continuous improvement to external System Availability dashboards, conducting 'eyes on glass' monitoring, and situational awareness of "CLIENT" IT services across the MVE.

The role also involves raising Incidents when required via the "CLIENT" IT Service Management Tool (ServiceNow) and engaging proactively and reactively in all Incident Management activities from event detection to Incident closure.

Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth operation of EOC and coordination activities with respective stakeholders for issues related to components of EOC.

Additional duties include user onboarding and offboarding into EOC, support and lead the roll-on process and associated administrative activities.

Continuous Improvement is also a key aspect of this role, which includes monitoring within EOC and participating in DR Tests and simulations when required by the Department.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary of $500 per day, with a flexible work arrangement that includes working from home 2 days a week and in the office 3 days a week, unless on shift outside of hours.

Shifts can range from 8 to 9 hours, with breaks included, and are subject to change and modification to fit workforce and Client requirements.
