We are seeking a skilled Civil Maintenance Technician to join our planned works team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience or those looking to enter the water maintenance industry.

The role involves reporting to the Civil Superintendent and being responsible for maintaining underground water and sewer systems based in Mitcham, Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking job pre-start safety analysis and updating site safety risk assessment
  • Carrying out excavation works to locate water pipes and sewer systems
  • Undertaking manual labour activities
  • Providing exceptional frontline customer service to all stakeholders

In order to succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Field experience in maintenance of water underground networks is desired but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Competent in the use of digital communication and data capture devices
  • Endurance in undertaking manual labour activities
  • Excavator experience & license (desirable)
  • Electrical Spotters ticket (desirable)
  • Cert 3 in Civil Construction / Water Operations is advantageous
