Job Title:

Civil Maintenance Supervisor

This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced individual who wants to take on a leadership position in civil maintenance operations. The successful candidate will oversee the management of a small works crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:

The Civil Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and contractors, providing guidance and support as needed. This includes managing projects, conducting site inspections, and maintaining compliance with OH&S policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small works crew
  • Contract management and procurement
  • Performance & KPI reporting and auditing
  • Project Management of maintenance works
  • Site inspections & surveillance
  • Ensure adherence to OH&S policies
  • A qualification in civil engineering/construction
  • Experience/knowledge of civil maintenance (roads, footpaths & drainage)
  • Experience in contract management and RMP compliance
  • Knowledge of OH&S and safe operating techniques
  • Solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles and legislation
  • Authority - preferred
  • Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
