Senior Transaction Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Transaction Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice to clients on complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and other business combinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and participate in transaction advisory engagements for private equity investors, funds, or corporate clients, working closely with clients, their bankers, and legal advisers.
  • Advise clients on transaction mechanisms and financial analysis by providing insights on purchase price mechanisms, analysing financial results through diligence findings and interviews, and supporting negotiations with clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal contacts and external clients to develop a portfolio of high-value projects, and collaborate with other teams to deliver an integrated approach to clients.

Requirements:

  • Possess a bachelor or master degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics, and be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or an international equivalent.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a professional services environment, or in a financial performance and analysis or mergers & acquisitions role at a corporate organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop, build, and manage relationships with multiple clients and teams, both external and internal.
  • A keen interest in understanding businesses, transactions, and deal value drivers, passion for client service excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to grasp complex issues and explain them clearly to non-accountants.
