About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique combination of strategic advisory services, financial restructuring, and corporate finance solutions delivering real-world value to clients.

As an expert consultant, you will partner with senior executives, boards, private equity investors, and governments every step of the way, providing innovative solutions to their most challenging financial, strategic, and operational issues.

You will be an integral part of a global, multidisciplinary team expanding your expertise across various industries and regions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the national team on leading insolvency projects, both large and medium in scale.
  • Engage in restructuring and turnaround initiatives, including early intervention efforts like independent business evaluations, safe harbour consultations, assessments of financial sustainability, counterparty examinations, and liquidity analyses.
  • Pursue your interests within specific sectors with the encouragement of the senior leadership team, seizing chances to broaden your knowledge and skills.
  • Take advantage of the opportunity to work alongside other teams within Strategy and Transactions, including Debt Advisory, Transaction Diligence, Valuations and Business Modelling, Real Estate Advisory, Infrastructure Advisory, and Mergers & Acquisitions, to deliver optimal solutions for our clients.
Requirements
  • Possess a degree in commerce, economics, or law (or a similar qualification).
  • Bring 5-10 years of relevant experience with a solid history of high performance in restructuring/advisory work either on behalf of creditors or distressed companies.
  • Either already have or be prepared to obtain the ARITA certification.
  • Have a talent for both numerical and descriptive analysis, and be enthusiastic about contributing positively to our community.
  • Exceptional leadership, business development, communication, and team collaboration skills are essential.
