Job Description: Team Leader Planning ServicesWe are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team of administration officers, providing sector-leading business and customer services to the public and the Darebin Statutory Planning unit.
This key role will oversee the day-to-day coordination of the team, building a high-performing team with a strong culture of collaboration and service excellence.
- Contribute to and identify continuous improvement activities
- Play a key role in preparing for the move to Council's new Enterprise Resource Planning system
- Oversee and be responsible for the achievement of statutory processes and timeframes
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification and/or appropriate experience in business, public administration, land use planning or other field relevant to work in a local government office
- Experience in staff management, co-ordinating administrative and customer service activities within a busy customer-focused department
- Demonstrated skills in administrative practices, investigation and problem-solving
- High level of attention to detail, proficiency in technology systems, including Microsoft Office suite of applications
The Team Leader Planning Services will be responsible for:
• Building a high-performing team with a strong culture of collaboration and service excellence
• Ensuring the team provides a positive customer experience
• Contributing to and identifying continuous improvement activities
• Playing a key role in preparing for the move to Council's new Enterprise Resource Planning system
• Overseeing and being responsible for the achievement of statutory processes and timeframes
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $97,480 per annum, plus superannuation.
