Role Overview:

The Operations Audit & Compliance Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all internal and external audit activities essential for the Operations division within Maxxia and RemServ.

This position serves as the primary liaison with the Client Engagement and Strategy team, ensuring effective management of key employer assurance initiatives and adherence to critical contractual obligations affecting GRS Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the enhancement of audit management capabilities within operational sectors while collaborating with GRS operations teams to ensure compliance and preparedness for all audit activities.
  • Maintain awareness of audit outcomes necessitating changes in GRS operations and collaborate with operational leaders to implement necessary adjustments across personnel, processes, or technology.
  • Partner with contract managers on major contracts to ensure support for employer assurance programs and manage any operational changes, identifying impacted business areas and the urgency of these changes.
  • Develop and sustain stakeholder relationships across various MMS divisions, including Tax and Compliance, Client Strategy and Engagement, and Business Systems.
  • Engage effectively with external stakeholders to ensure business needs are met, challenging them when necessary to achieve optimal outcomes for both clients and the organization.
  • Lead a team to meet collective and individual KPIs, encompassing operational, customer service, and, where applicable, sales metrics, while conducting regular one-on-one and team meetings to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee workflow and real-time task allocation, monitoring productivity and quality assurance as needed.

  • Proven ability to cultivate productive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing numerical data and complex information to fulfill required tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to engage with and manage stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
