Lead HR Specialist

This is a permanent role for an experienced HR professional to take on key responsibilities within our organisation.

The key aspects of the role include:

  • Providing guidance and support to staff and managers regarding organisational procedures, policies and employment conditions.
  • Overseeing recruitment activities and labour hire agreements/companies.
  • Managing daily HR issues, employment contracts, workcover claims.
  • Some involvement with payroll for leave and absenteeism.
  • There will be some travel to sites and facilities.
  • Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle for company employees.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated operational HR experience.
  • Proven industrial relations and employment law experience and some experience working with and interpreting EBA's, Awards and Legislation.
  • Recruitment background - experience liaising with labour hire companies.
  • Experience managing workers compensation claims.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
