Job Title: Data Center Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call support for data center operations, ensuring seamless equipment staging and delivery.
  • Store and stage IT hardware and equipment in a secure and efficient manner.
  • Deliver hardware to client sites in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Perform hardware replacements and upgrades within data centers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faulty equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and best practices in data center operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of equipment movements, issues, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide efficient and effective support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of data center equipment, IT hardware, and associated technologies.
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis and respond to urgent requests.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data center safety procedures and protocols.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules.
  • Physical fitness to handle equipment and perform tasks within data center environments.
