Job Description

We have multiple vacancies for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to work on Hawk Lead in Fighter and F35 programs within our Aerospace organisation based in Williamtown, NSW.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to carry out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance tasks. You will work closely with the team leader to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and diagnosing faults in avionic systems and components on fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Your expertise will also be required in the production, maintenance and repair of sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite materials and components on the aircraft.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be required to record details of work performed accurately and promptly, and to report any defects or deficiencies as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Holds a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or recognised training (Mandatory).
  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Mandatory).
  • Experience or a strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment.
