We are seeking a dedicated and skilled healthcare professional to join our team as an Aviation Medical Officer/General Practitioner. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to Defence members at Williamtown Health Centre.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general practice and aviation medicine, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Job Description:

• Deliver medical services including aviation-based services such as fitness to fly assessments, aviation medicals, and aircrew clinical health management.
• Provide medical technical advice to senior officers and commanders.
• Work in various settings, including outpatient clinics and hospital wards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
• FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration.
• Minimum 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years.
• Australian Citizen.
• Basic military aviation medicine course or equivalent.
