Overview


C015 APT MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTY LIMITED seeks an experienced Operational Risk Strategist to join its Asset Management team in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne on a 12-month Max term contract.


About the Role


As a key member of the Operations Risk, Compliance, and Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations teams across APA, championing a strong risk culture, and providing risk management expertise and leadership.



  • Lead the Operations division in identifying and managing risks to its strategy and operating plans, in accordance with APA's Risk Management Framework.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure effective systems and processes are established and implemented that track, monitor, and report on risk consistent with the requirements of APA corporate and achieve the strategic objectives of the national APA business strategy.
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams and line management to coordinate risk registers actions and controls to ensure status completeness and accuracy.
  • Facilitate, train, and monitor business continuity management within Operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee insurance processes within Operations.

About You


To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in risk, compliance, or assurance roles within asset-intensive sectors, with hands-on application of risk frameworks at an organizational level.


Experience leading cross-functional risk assessments and facilitating workshops to identify, assess, and manage operational, strategic, and compliance risks is essential.


You will have a strong background in stakeholder engagement, with experience influencing senior leaders and mentoring teams to build risk awareness and drive best practices.
