About the Role
- The payroll team is responsible for paying employees on a regular basis.
- This role will report into the payroll manager and is a hybrid position located at our office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out payroll system administration, including electronic funds transfer (EFT)
- Preparing payment requisitions for processing payments to external agencies
- Maintaining employee master files
- Identifying system issues and suggesting improvements
- Generating reports from HR systems
- Ensuring compliance with superannuation legislation and reporting requirements
- Providing support to employees with EmpLive and My Central
- Assisting with year-end processing.
Responsibilities also include:
- Calculating final pay for terminated employees, including payments for annual leave and long service leave
- Providing support to employees as required
- Issuing certificates of service for terminated employees
