**Job Overview**

This is a permanent, full-time role based at the Brisbane CBD office.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design, building and implementation of our new payroll system. Post-implementation, you'll inspire your team to deliver timely, accurate and compliant payroll outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience in leading process improvement initiatives and be able to facilitate programs across multiple sites and functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape and influence customer experience and use of payroll services in operations and functions.
  • Create the payroll team vision by promoting the HR strategic plan and targets.
  • Contribute to the design and lead the implementation of the governance model for payroll systems and processes.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within mining or heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Australian payroll statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to facilitate programs and activities across multiple sites and functional areas.
  • Proficient in the use of variable payroll systems (preferably SAP).

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Payroll, Human Resources or related disciplines.

You will have a strong background in payroll and human resources, with experience in leading teams and implementing process improvements.

You will be responsible for designing, building and implementing the new payroll system, as well as leading and inspiring your team to deliver timely, accurate and compliant payroll outcomes.
