Strata Claims Specialist

The role of Strata Claims Specialist involves managing the entire lifecycle of strata claims, from lodgement to finalisation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance policies and building terminology, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage end-to-end strata claims, ensuring efficient and fair outcomes for customers">
  • Assess property damage claims, appoint assessors or builders, and coordinate required inspections">
  • Liaise with policyholders, brokers, repairers, and internal departments to gather and validate information">
  • Interpret and apply policy wordings to determine claim outcomes in accordance with company guidelines">
  • Review and authorise quotes, manage variations, and ensure repairs progress in a timely manner">
  • Maintain accurate records and update claim information across internal systems">
  • Provide empathetic and professional customer service throughout the claims journey">
  • Ensure all claims meet compliance, service standards, and turnaround targets">
  • Identify and escalate any potentially fraudulent or complex claims">

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end property claims (domestic or commercial)">
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, building terminology, and repair processes">
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when assessing information and processing claims">
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment">
  • Full Australian working rights">
