Reporting to the Head of People Partnerships, this role enables our people to thrive through the provision of contemporary HS&W leadership, governance, and support. This position is key in advancing and enabling a unified culture of safety, wellbeing, and operational excellence to ensure World Vision is providing quality staff care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective WHS strategies to prevent incidents and improve outcomes.
- Proactively managing all aspects of incident management, injury prevention, and workers compensation.
- Designing and delivering employee experiences that promote a responsive culture of care and support, in partnership with health and wellbeing providers.
- Ensuring safety, assurance, and compliance for work-related travel for World Vision Australia.
- Building and maintaining internal relationships to influence effective Safety and Security outcomes and culture.
- Driving a high-performance culture with team members through coaching and development.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation, project management, and change management. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of conducting investigations, developing effective WHS policies and procedures, and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
