Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker to join our team at Humanity Health Group. As a key member of our allied health team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to develop their workplace skills and thrive in their chosen career.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality therapy and intervention to help individuals get 'job ready' and achieve their employment goals.
- Support clients with personal growth and development, and provide mentoring to encourage a level of competence and independence.
- Manage your own calendar to meet client expectations and workload, and conduct mini-mental health training sessions on site for employment services staff.
- Liaise with local health professionals and services as required, and build and maintain strong relationships with key referrers and customers.
- Identify and engage with potential new entrants to our services, and complete risk assessments and discuss suitability with relevant stakeholders.
We are looking for a candidate who is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and has a passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients. To thrive in this role, you will need:
- An approved Rehabilitation Counselling or Social work degree.
- Full registration with an approved body.
- Determination and motivation for professional growth.
- A passion for helping and assisting individuals with disabilities or those who are unemployed.
- High levels of verbal and written communication.
- Customer-centric with a desire to drive strong client relationships.
- A valid Australian Drivers Licence and access to your own vehicle.
