Commodity Risk Expert

As a pivotal role within the risk analysis team, this position is responsible for analysing risks within commodity trading portfolios.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely risk reporting by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Support the development of tools and analytical models to provide insights into the energy landscape and market exposures.
- Manage key risk models, including data sourcing, validation, and reconciliation of model inputs and outputs.
- Communicate market developments and trading position changes across the commodity portfolio.

Risk Analysis Role Overview
The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in economics, mathematics or a related discipline, as well as experience in energy derivatives and commodity markets. They must also have strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and VBA.
