This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our supportive team on a permanent, part-time basis at our clinic in Frenchs Forest.
- The role involves consultation-style appointment reviews with patients receiving treatment, offering a great level of autonomy while being supported by the NUM, CNC's, CNE, and our friendly nursing team.
- As a mid-senior level position, you will be required to demonstrate reliability, motivation, and flexibility while contributing to quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met. The successful applicant will:
- Manage patients' care plans effectively, ensuring seamless communication with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, communicating information regarding patients' status.
- Monitor medication management protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Experience in Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Oncology (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, empathy for patients and carers.
- Clinical and problem-solving skills, ability to plan and coordinate care.
- Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
