Our client is an established specialist consultancy practice which operates Monday to Friday typically between 08.30am-5.00pm however please be aware a degree of flexibility is required to take your turn to cover the early and late shifts (early; 8am-4.10pm or late; 9am-5.30/6pm).

**The Role**

In this fast paced specialist environment you will be required to respond to patient and specialist requests in a timely manner. Managing multiple patient appointments and processing patient billings you will be able to multitask and prioritise your own workload whilst working as part of a larger team.

**Duties within the role will include**:

- Meet and greet all patients in a busy clinic setting
- Accurately manage patient bookings and records
- Process patient billings including Medicare and insurance claims
- Liaise with public and private hospitals, and other third parties
- Running and preparation of patient clinics and ad-hoc administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent working knowledge of medical software systems (Bluechip preferred)
- Ability to work well independently, under pressure, as well as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to communicate effectively with doctors, staff, patients, other health care professionals and third parties
- Well presented with excellent personal presentation
