About the Role

We are seeking an experienced events specialist to join our Corporate Affairs team in Sydney. This role will be responsible for organizing, project managing and executing Bunnings corporate events, including Trade Expos across Australia and New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, with experience in project logistics and decision-making under pressure. They will be able to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines while delivering engaging experiences that support the business agenda of team, supplier, retail and commercial customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency and best practice execution of all Bunnings events
  • Deliver engaging events, projects and support activities on time and within budget, including all scheduling and reporting as required
  • Support the Events Lead in ad hoc team duties and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in events management within a national corporate, retail business or agency environment (experience in exhibitions is preferred)
  • Experience in event management software such as Events Air (preferred)
  • Strong verbal communication skills and high level of interpersonal skills including negotiation
  • Practical and commercial understanding of operational issues
  • Good attention to detail, excellent administrative and organisational skills
