At Hudson, we are seeking an experienced Project Portfolio Manager to lead our Better Portfolio and Contract Management Project (BPCM). This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to building a stronger and optimised portfolio management office.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project schedules and tracking progress across all workstreams, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope. Key accountabilities include:

  • Maintaining project schedules and coordinating with workstream/work-package leads to track deliverables, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Tracking and reporting on overall project health, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality metrics.
  • Proactively identifying, documenting, and managing project risks and issues, working with workstream leads and the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed of project progress, changes, and decisions that may impact delivering the project objectives.

This role requires strong project governance and reporting skills, with experience in project management or PMO roles, ideally within large-scale transformation or transition programs. The ideal candidate will have advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong risk and issue management capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in complex implementation projects.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and optimize their use for project delivery.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $1,084 per day, inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
